The British inventor created a lamp with a service life of 37 years

Unusual lamp

The author of the invention is Jake Dyson, son of the famous British inventor James Dyson. The main idea of the novelty is the system of heat dissipation from the light source – LEDs. It is their constant heating that leads to the fact that they eventually fade and fail.

In the lamp of Jake Dyson, the LEDs are placed in conical cones, evenly spreading warm white light. Thanks to the special design of the luminaire, it consumes only 20% of the energy of a conventional halogen lamp. In such an economical mode, as the creator of the device claims, he can “permanently” work up to 37 years.

The cooling element of the LEDs is a special tube. Especially I want to stop at the light field, which creates a lamp. Eight conical reflectors eliminate the appearance of glare during reading, which removes the problem of eye fatigue.

The luminaire is regulated by light finger force along the horizontal, vertical and rotation, thanks to a special counterweight system. The intensity of light is changed by the sensory method. This lamp will work depending on the model from 610 to 916 dollars.
